Michael Fischbein

Mr. Fischbein joined the firm in 2003 and currently manages the Medical Malpractice division of Paul B. Weitz & Associates. He has extensive experience in every aspect of litigating complex medical malpractice cases. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fischbein worked for a medical malpractice defense firm which has given him a valuable perspective in the approach to prosecuting every medical malpractice case. He understands the thought process of the defense which has lead to extremely successful results.

Mr. Fischbein has negotiated numerous multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of the firm's clients. He gives every client and their case the attention it deserves, and is always available to address any questions a client may have. He has earned an outstanding reputation in the legal community through his hard work and dedication.

Mr. Fischbein is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Southern Districts. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Fischbein has also joined the American Inns of Court, King's County, a prestigious society of Lawyers and Judges, which is by invitation only, designed to improve the knowledge, professionalism and ethics of both the bench and the bar.

Mr. Fischbein is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law where he earned his J.D. degree. He also has a B. A. degree from Emory University.
